This is a semi-hard cheese made from sheep’s milk, or a combination of sheep’s milk and goat’s milk. Kasseri has a mild tangy flavour with an oily texture. Suitable for grating on pasta meals, as a melted cheese in sandwiches or on pizzas, or as a table cheese or in mezedes.
